Join Garrett Bernethy as he introduces “faith builders” from chapter 1 of James. At this point, we have studied each passage in an exegetical fashion and made application to our lives, and now it is time to look at our study from a faith-building perspective. We must have a firm grasp on the importance of having faith of our own. I can’t get to Heaven on someone else’s faith, just like I can’t earn a master’s degree through the study and hard work of another. My ability to hear“well done” will depend on my ability to be faithful the way God desires faithfulness. Only then can I share it with my family, the Church, and the world the way it was designed to be shared. A strong faith can do all things because true faith trusts in God. Now, let’s join Garrett as he takes us through the text to help us build a faith that is both reliable and pleasing to God.
If using the Excel Still More Bible Workshop Book to study along, this session will be from pages 97-108.
