When Jesus of Nazareth visited the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, His disciples were excited to show Him the grandeur and beauty of this sacred and monumental place constructed by King Herod the Great. This great engineering marvel of the ancient world, however, was destroyed and only portions of it remain today. But still, the massive foundation, artifacts unearthed at its base, and the documents of history are revealing a message of a once glorious past, and we are on a mission to retell its story.
