In this episode, we introduce our first study of the Hebrew writer's use of the Old Testament texts. The book of Hebrews was written to encourage Jewish converts to hold fast to their new faith in Christ Jesus. He does this by providing various "proof texts" in the Hebrew Scriptures to reassure them of their newly founded faith and show them that Jesus is the better way and the fulfillment of God's promises and oaths.
Join Austin and Nate as they go through the first chapter, which seeks to show Jesus as the eternal King, better than even the angels themselves.
